Even More Free Stuff!

If you’ve spent any time at all on this site, you know that I’m committed to giving out the very best free stuff to teachers. It’s with this in mind that I’m pleased to present the following resources as a big cool (free) package:

My complete lecture notes for an entire year of general and honors high school chemistry. If you’re just getting started or if you’re curious about how I teach something, find out now!

27 previously unreleased labs and 37 previously unreleased worksheets and rubrics! Labs (including combination lecture/lab/practice problem packets for the end of the year), worksheets, and rubrics from my secret files that have never yet seen the light of day.

Nine previously unreleased files that make life easier for the new teacher! Files that can help out teachers with the start of the year, with doing labs, with calculating percentages, and other stuff. These files are included into the folders for the labs and worksheets described above, depending on where they seem to fit best.

All the books on this website: 24 Lessons That Rocked The World, 17 Effective Activities for New Chemistry Teachers, and The Complete Book of Chemistry Quizzes and Practice Problems (which has been updated to include even more quizzes and practice problems).

There are two ways to get this stuff:

1) Send me a flash drive and get these for FREE!

Send me a self-addressed and stamped envelope (return postage is $0.64) along with a USB flash drive and I’ll copy this stuff onto it and send it back to you, absolutely FREE! My mailing address is Ian Guch, 6624 Cavalier Drive, Alexandria, VA 22307. If you want to include money or additional stamps so that I may send CD-ROMs of these files to teachers in underserved areas, I would certainly appreciate it. However, this is not required, so don’t feel like you have to do so. Sorry, but this option isn’t available for international orders.

2) Send me $5 and I’ll send you all of this, preloaded on a CD-ROM (for those without a spare flash drive):

Your $5 pays for the CD-ROM, the postage, and the shipping supplies. You can do this in one of two ways:

  • Send $5 to via PayPal. Here’s a cool drop down menu to make it easy for you. I’d also appreciate it if you’d consider making a donation so that I may send these resources to teachers in underserved schools, though that’s not a requirement:
Choose an option!

  • Send a $5 bill to my mailing address (Ian Guch, 6624 Cavalier Drive, Alexandria, VA 22307). This is for those of you who don’t trust PayPal and don’t have a spare flash drive. Please don’t send checks because I had problems with bouncing checks back in the days when I sold hard copies of my books. Remember to include your mailing address so I know where to send your CD-ROM! If you want to include money or additional stamps so that I may send CD-ROMs of these files to teachers in underserved areas, I would certainly appreciate it. However, this is not a requirement, so don’t feel like you have to do so.

Some final words:

I hope that you decide to take me up on this offer, because I think it’s pretty cool. These are the best of the resources I use with my own students exactly as my students see them, and I know you’ll have good luck with them too.

Shameless plug: Though you certainly don’t have to, I would also appreciate it if you could send a little extra cash or postage so I can send some of these CD-ROMs out to underserved schools. Alternatively, pass it forward and donate your time and/or money directly to an organization that tutors or otherwise assists needy children in your area. As teachers, all of us know that many schools are hurting desperately for funding, and any little bit you can give them will help.

As always, feel free to email me at misterguch@chemfiesta.com.

Your friend,

Ian Guch
